Adam emigrated to Australia from England with his family in 2005 and has lived in Mindarie, Perth ever since.
A Wealth of Knowledge
After completing high school Adam was accepted into Edith Cowan University to undertake a Bachelor of Science (Exercise and Sports Science) degree. Learning more about sport, the human body, and the science that allows it to perform, was a huge influence for him choosing to study this course. Through this degree, Adam acquired valuable knowledge on human anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, sports injuries, rehabilitation, and preventative measures that allow optimal functioning of the human body.
Following this, Adam attended the Australian Institute of Fitness and obtained a Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy. Through this course, he learned a variety of massage therapy techniques including; remedial, deep tissue, sports and swedish. He has also trained to incorporate myofascial release (MFR), trigger point release, muscle energy techniques (MET), dry needling and kinesiology taping into his treatments.
An Active Lifestyle
Adam has always been a keen sportsman, with his main interest being football (soccer). He has a longstanding passion for health, fitness, and wellbeing and believe remedial massage can assist people from all walks of life. He has worked with cycling, cricket and soccer athletes at various levels and provides each client with their own unique treatment plan based upon testing and observations he has made. On top of regular treatments, He believes in educating his clients and giving them the knowledge and insight to better understand and manage any conditions or issues they may have.
Adam is a member of the Association of Massage Therapists (AMT) and a registered provider for Private Health Funds. If your cover includes Remedial Massage, you may be able to claim.
